Nothing like getting the podcast started at a rolling boil. But that’s typically what a Ham-Fisted conversation resembles when Dawn has Mary-Suzanne Lamkins in as guest host. After a half-hour of NOT-recorded conversation bubbled up and out of our heroes, the red lights went on, and off to the races we go, talking about Mary-Suzanne’s super-talented kitties, apparently capable of minor architectural feats with blankies. Also shared? The goth histories of both women, their propensity for top hats, and a love for Dan Harmon’s beloved “Community,” which is no longer Dan Harmon’s, which sucks. But most crucially, this episode really gets at Dawn’s babyphobia, a subject only slightly touched upon in the last episode, but a fear given full flower tonight. Speaking of full flower – how Dead Alive caused Dawn & Patrick to get together. Last but not least: TRUE BLOOD RECAP.
