Episode 165: Letter Grades

by admin on December 31, 2012

On the final episode of 2012, Dawn brings her loving husband Patrick, her stalwart co-hosts Jaime Kirk and Bobby Roberts, and gathers them together to reflect on the year that was 2012. The victories, the failures, the regrets, and the report card that we all knew was coming due before 2013 kicks off at 12:00am Tuesday morning. Sure, there’s discussion of movies, and music, and other pop-culture stuffs, but there’s also discussion of patience, and judgment, and friendship, and support, and backbiting, and the long struggle towards self-improvement, and how hard it is NOT to give up, especially when you harbor the tendencies of the classic perfectionist – especially a perfectionist who so rarely manages to perfect ANYTHING. In short (ish) – it’s everything a Ham-Fisted report card should sound like.

As far as I’m concerned downtown Portland has become like Europe, I don’t go to either place. I can find everything I need in the suburbs without having to trek to a green box to pay for parking.
